School Performance Profiles

Each year the OSPI school performance profile is made available to parents on the school website.  Also available is a more comprehensive profile using information gathered by the School Improvement Team.  The data collected and reported by the School Improvement Team includes information regarding student achievement and behavior.

Students in grades K-5 take academic benchmark assessments for reading and math during the fall, winter, and spring each year. The benchmark assessments taken are the i-Ready diagnostic for reading and the NWEA MAP for math. In addition to academic benchmarks, students are also screened for social emotional concerns by classroom teachers using the DESSA. Each benchmark period, these assessments along with teacher recommendations are used to identify those students who would benefit from additional Title 1 or LAP services.

Student assessment results, school curriculum, and grade level student standards are shared during Open House, family teacher conferences, PTO meetings and other specially called meetings.

Families can also arrange additional conferences with school staff for further explanation and planning regarding assessment results.
